Mika Singh has stirred up a controversy by revealing his bitter experience of working with Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover on the web series Dangerous. The singer-turned-producer opened up about his regrets in an interview, accusing Bipasha of throwing tantrums and turning the project into a nightmare. According to Mika, the production, which was initially meant to be a small-scale venture, became an expensive and frustrating ordeal due to the actress’s alleged behavior.
Following Mika’s explosive claims, Bipasha seemingly responded with a cryptic Instagram story about “toxic people,” leaving fans speculating whether she was taking a subtle dig at him. She shared a quote by Dr. Anne Brown that read, “Toxic people create chaos, point fingers, shift blame and avoid taking responsibility.” Adding her own note, she wrote, “Stay away from toxicity and negativity. God bless all. Durga Durga,” along with folded hand emojis. While she did not directly name Mika or address the allegations, her post has led many to believe that she’s clapping back at his accusations.

Mika didn’t hold back in his interview, questioning Bipasha and Karan’s lack of work opportunities in recent years. “Why do you think they’re out of work now? God is watching everything,” he said. Initially, he had planned to cast Karan with another actress in the project, but Bipasha insisted on joining. He recalled how the film’s budget skyrocketed from Rs 4 crore to Rs 14 crore after setting the shoot in London, blaming Bipasha for the unexpected expenses and constant drama on set.
The singer also accused Bipasha Basu of making demands and refusing to do certain scenes, calling out actresses who complain about their careers but don’t show respect to producers. “These out-of-work actresses complain about bad luck, but they should learn to respect producers who bring them opportunities. They are your god. They’d rather take minuscule roles in a Dharma film but won’t show the same respect to independent producers, despite getting paid just as much,” he alleged.
With Bipasha’s cryptic response adding fuel to the fire, the question remains—will she break her silence and respond directly, or will this war of words continue in the shadows?
