Bollywood Star Shah Rukh Khan Hospitalized After Heat Stroke at Ahmedabad IPL Match

Actor Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to the hospital while in Ahmedabad for an IPL match because he suffered from heat stroke. Juhi Chawla and Gauri Khan paid him a visit at the hospital.

Heatstroke forced Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan into the hospital. On Wednesday afternoon, the actor was admitted to a hospital located in Ahmedabad. The Ahmedabad police were cited by PTI as confirming this.

Hospitalised is Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh was hospitalised in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, according to PTI, following a heat stroke, as per police reports. According to them, he was admitted to the multispecialty KD Hospital. Om Prakash Jat, the superintendent of police for Ahmedabad’s rural area, stated that actor Shah Rukh Khan was brought to KD Hospital following a heat stroke.

The actor travelled to Ahmedabad on Tuesday to see his Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) club play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The actor had been joined by his son AbRam and daughter Suhana as he met and greeted fans following the match and spoke with the cricket players. Even after KKR defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the game, the three continued to celebrate. It is Suhana’s birthday today.

Gauri Khan rushed to be at his side in Ahmedabad

After seeing Shah Rukh, Juhi Chawla and her spouse Jay Mehta were seen leaving the hospital.

Watch the live performance

Shah Rukh, Suhana, and AbRam lapped around the Narendra Modi Stadium to greet the crowd following Tuesday’s play. They accidentally cut off JioCinema’s live, in-the-field IPL 2024 Hindi broadcast show as they were doing this.

After realising his foolishness, Shah Rukh promptly apologised to the show’s hosts, former Indian cricket players Aakash Chopra, Parthiv Patel, and Suresh Raina. He then gave them a hug and expressed his regret to the audience watching the broadcast before making his way around the arena. Holding AbRam’s hands, Suhana was observed cautiously avoiding the cameras.

Future Projects

Shah Rukh revealed that he was working nonstop last year because he had three releases (Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki) in an interview with Star Sports for Kight Club’s King Khan Rules. He explained that he chose to take a sabbatical and focus on his IPL cricket club, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), because his roles demanded a lot of him physically.

“I just felt like I could really get some rest,” he remarked. Making the adolescent film Chuka Hoon required a lot of physical labour as well. I responded by saying that I might take a break. I told the entire team that we would be playing big matches. Thankfully, meri shooting ab August main hain. We intend to shoot in June. I can therefore attend every match without any restrictions. Main aata hoon khushi se. (I sensed that I might relax. I worked on three physically taxing films. I promised the entire team that I would attend their games. Thankfully, we plan in June and I don’t shoot my next until August. Being here makes me joyful.)
