The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has embarked on a crackdown on visa consultancy firms and travel agencies that try to recruit young Indians with false promises of employment in war-torn regions bordering Russia and Ukraine. The CBI conducted a coordinated operation at 10 locations nationwide, taking damning documents, electronic equipment, and ₹50 lakh (₹5 million) in cash.

The raids targeted travel businesses and consultancies suspected of exploiting vulnerable youth seeking foreign employment. These agencies purportedly offered rich positions near the dangerous Russia-Ukraine border. State police officials say Shara Travel Agency in Thiruvananthapuram was raided.

CBI operations went beyond one city. Parallel raids were launched in Tamil Nadu and other Indian states. The network expanded to New Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, and Chennai. Specific goals:

Overseas Foundation, KG Marg, New Delhi, directed by Suyash Mukund O.S.D. Bros Travels & Visa Services Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, directed by Rakesh Pandey Adventure Visa Services, Chandigarh, directed by Manjeet Singh Baba Vlogs Overseas Recruitment Solutions, Dubai, directed by Faisal Abdul Mutalib Khan

Reports suggest state police knew of the CBI’s broad operation, but details are scarce. Around 13 strategic cities were raided.

The thorough operation revealed important evidence. Over ₹50 lakh in cash and a large amount of possibly incriminating documents and electronic recordings were recovered by the CBI. To aid investigations, laptops, phones, desktops, and CCTV recordings were seized. Some suspects have been detained for questioning while searches continue at targeted locations.

The CBI has found 35 incidents of vulnerable people being transported abroad under false pretenses. These findings demonstrate the depth of the situation and these unethical agencies’ predatory actions.

These facts prompted the CBI to warn the public. They warned job searchers not to fall for misleading recruitment agency and agent promises. The organization stresses the significance of investigation and verification before working abroad, especially in high-risk areas.

The CBI’s prompt action protects innocent Indian youngsters. It eliminates exploitation and protects vulnerable people from war-torn job frauds. CBI exposes fraudulent techniques and advises vigilance to help job seekers make informed selections about their future employment abroad.
