A luxury boutique resort in Dharamshala, Brij Anarya, is due to be launched next month. It will join Brij Hotels’ existing portfolio of 7 properties in India.
Brij Hotels has just informed about the signing of Brij Anarya, a magnificent boutique resort located in Dharamshala. Brij Anarya, a unique property in Dharamshala, with a rich Victorian past and was once named White Haven. Throughout the British Raj, the property enjoyed the distinction of entertaining famous Viceroys, notable British explorers, and several other noteworthy dignitaries.
Nestled in the Himalayas, Brij Anarya gives a one-of-a-kind boutique luxury experience with stunning views of the snow-capped Dhauladhar range. Nestled among towering deodar and oak trees, with beautiful lawns, breathtaking panoramas, and tea plantations in the neighborhood, the estate features 12 suites and spreads across 10 acres of hilly terrain.

The house enjoys a fantastic position, being about 12 km away from the Gaggal airport and in close proximity to the Dharamshala bus station.
In a recent statement, Shiv Mehan, the CEO of Brij Hotels, expressed his delight on the current development. Mehan noted that the addition of Brij Anarya in their collection of highly immersive boutique resorts is a source of enthusiasm for the firm.
This is the second site for Brij Hotels in Himachal Pradesh. The sharing of the tradition of this recognized heritage site with guests is considered an honor. The Brij Anarya is due to open its doors in June, promising to transfer tourists to another period and present them with wonderful memories of Dharamshala.

He disclosed that preparations are already beginning to develop the facility into a magnificent resort, replete with larger inventory, different eating options, thrilling recreational activities, and top-notch spa facilities.
Brij Anarya, the future property, features a unique heritage that is connected with the tea estates of Kangra and the ancient tea trade across the Northern Provinces, the Kashgar Region of the Hindukush, and the original Silk Route. It is the only property in the region with such a rich and intriguing heritage.
The illustrious visitors that have graced this establishment with their presence include the famed British explorer Robert Barkley Shaw, as well as respected administrators Sir Thomas Douglas Forsyth and Sir Donald Friel McLeod, who were highly regarded aristocrats during their time.
Brij Anarya is planned to make its debut in June 2023, increasing the current collection of Brij properties in India. The latest acquisition will join the current portfolio of seven hotels located in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, Rajasthan’s Kukas, Pali, Jawai, Bikaner, and Jaipur, as well as Himachal Pradesh’s Dalhousie.
