An Instagram reel of a Bharatnatyam dancer Sanika Shinde has gone viral in which she is seen dancing with another dancer Om Tarphe on the song, “Ban Than Chali” from the movie “Kurukshetra” and it was sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan.
Sanika posted the video with the caption, “When you attend your best friend’s first workshop❤️ @danceastic_om, Always wanted to learn this choreography, thank you for teaching and conducting such an amazing workshop Omiii”
After being shared on 12th July, the video has garnered 1.8 million likes and has been viewed for more than 21 million times.
“Kurukshetra” released in 2000 and it starred Sanjay Dutt, Mahima Chaudhury and Om Puri in important roles. Though the movie failed in impressing the audiences, its songs were liked by music lovers and they are still very popular.
