Explosive Situation: Firecracker Episode Unfolds on Bhagalpur-Jaynagar Express

On Wednesday, firecrackers exploded aboard the Bhagalpur-Jaynagar Intercity Express train, injuring at least two people. The incident occurred outside the Samastipur railway station and that two of the passengers on the train, who were carrying firecrackers, have been arrested by the police. The explosion left the train’s carriage in disarray and left a number of passengers stFunned.

At least two people were hurt when firecrackers detonated on the Bhagalpur-Jaynagar Intercity Express train on Wednesday. According to media sources, the incident happened outside the Samastipur railway station, and the police have detained two of the train’s occupants who were carrying firecrackers. Several people were left dazed, and the train’s carriage was left in disarray as a result of the explosion.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has refrained from commenting on the event while it is being investigated. The reports state that the explosion happened in a bag that was on the upper bed of a carriage. The woman seated just below the delivery has burn injuries and has been admitted to the nearby hospital.

The explosion happens as Bihar’s rush peaks around Diwali and the impending Chhath Puja. Speaking about the event, the DSP for Samastipur Railway Division stated that the explosion took place in the Bhagalpur-Jaynagar Intercity Express’s general compartment. Three people were injured in the blast, and two people have been detained by the Darbhanga GRP in connection with it, the officer stated.

“The Bhagalpur-Jaynagar Intercity Express landed here on platform no. 5 at 1:30 pm today. Following departure close to Samastipur’s home signal, there was an explosion in the main cabin. Three people suffered injuries as a result. In connection with this, two persons have been held in Darbhanga GRP.” DSP Naveen Kumar of the Samastipur Railway Division
