Fans Express Emotions After Virat Kohli’s RCB Is Out Of IPL 2023

RCB is now out of the race of the IPL 2023 trophy after losing the match to GT & Twitter can’t stop reacting

The journey of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2023 came to an end on 21 May 2023 after they lost the league match against Gujarat Titans which was played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Virat Kohli played a blistering knock of 101 runs not out (61 balls, 13 fours & 1 six) and helped his team in posting a competitive total of 197/5 on the score board and with his seventh century of the IPL, he became the batter with the most IPL centuries surpassing Chris Gayle who earlier held the record with six centuries.

However, Shubman Gill’s sensational knock of 104 runs not out (52 balls, 5 fours & 8 sixes) negated the efforts of Virat Kohli and GT chased the target successfully with 6 wickets in hand and 5 balls remaining in their innings. GT batter Vijay Shankar supported Shubman well and played a brilliant knock of 53 runs (35 balls, 7 fours & 2 sixes) and with this defeat, RCB once again failed to win the title in the 16th season.

While fans of RCB were upset and disappointed, fans of Mumbai Indians were happy as GT’s win made their entry in the play-offs possible.

Soon, the micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with reactions:

All the best to RCB for the next year!
