Tollywood actor Allu Arjun visited KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad on Tuesday to meet eight-year-old SriTej, who was injured in the stampede during the premiere show of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at Sandhya Theatre last month.

Arriving at the hospital in the morning under tight police security, Allu Arjun spent approximately half an hour there. He was accompanied by Telangana State Film Development Corporation Chairman, Dil Raju. The actor inquired with the doctors about SriTej’s condition and met with his father, assuring him of all necessary support.

Allu Arjun had initially planned to visit the hospital on January 5 after reporting at Chikkadpally Police Station as part of the conditions set by a city court while granting him regular bail. However, he postponed the visit after receiving a notice from Ramgopalpet Police Station advising him to reconsider the timing due to concerns that his presence might attract public and media attention, potentially disturbing the hospital’s peaceful environment.

The police cautioned that if Allu Arjun did not cooperate, he would be held solely responsible for any negative consequences resulting from his visit. On January 6, the police issued another notice, reiterating the need for confidentiality to maintain public order in and around the hospital. They also offered to make necessary arrangements to facilitate his visit.

The tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre on December 4 resulted in the death of a woman named Revathi, while her son SriTej sustained critical injuries. The incident occurred during the premiere show attended by Allu Arjun.

Authorities alleged that the actor had visited the theatre without permission and conducted a ‘roadshow,’ which they claimed led to the unfortunate incident. Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in connection with the case and was granted interim bail by the High Court the same day.

Last week, Nampally Court granted the actor regular bail, directing him to cooperate with the ongoing investigation and report to the concerned police station every Sunday.
