Floral startup Hoovu Fresh gets Rs. 10 million from Shark Tank India

Hoovu Fresh, a flower business located in Bengaluru, has secured Rs 10 million in investment. The objective of the organisation is to supply fresh flowers every day at reasonable pricing.

Hoovu Fresh, a flower business located in Bengaluru, has acquired Rs 10 million in financing from Shark Tank India through Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt Lifestyle, and Peyush Bansal, founder of Lenskart.com.

Hoovu Fresh, founded in February 2019 by sisters Yeshoda and Rhea Karuturi, aims to supply fresh flowers every day at reasonable costs.

A business reality television series broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television in India, Shark Tank India, depicts entrepreneurs presenting business plans for their enterprises to a panel of investors or sharks who determine whether or not to invest in the firm.

Recently, the brand raised Rs 6.45 crore in a pre-series A funding round led by Sauce.VC and joined by multiple angels including Sangeet Agrawal (founder of Mokobara), Akshay Dujodwala (CSO at Mangalam Organics), Nikhil Bhandarkar (founder of Panthera Peak Capital), Cafe Coffee Day’s family office, and Mylktree Family Office in December 2022.

Hoovu Fresh has offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. Flowers may be ordered using supermarket apps such as Big Basket, Zepto, Milk Basket, and others.

On its website, Hoovu Fresh also sells agarbattis (incense sticks) made from recycled temple flowers as well as other puja supplies.
