Amitabh Bachchan expressed disappointment over SRH’s IPL final loss to KKR. He praised SRH’s efforts and empathized with owner Kavya Maran’s emotional reaction.
The Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is a cricket fan and he was highly dejected when the IPL team Mumbai Indians got knocked out of the tournament and yesterday he was once again disappointed when Sunrisers Hyderabad lost the finals to Kolkata Knight Riders.
Amitabh Bachchan congratulated Shah Rukh Khan and his team for winning the IPL trophy but he also said that he is disappointed after seeing SRH owner Kavya Maran who was hiding her tears but was finding difficult to do so.
Big B wrote in his blog, “The IPL Final is over and KKR have WON a most convincing victory .. SRH were simply outplayed .. disappointing in many ways because SRH is a good team and one has seen their very grand performances over the days when they played other matches.”
He further wrote, “But what was most touching to observe was the pretty young lady , .. the owner of SRH, in the Stadium, get emotional after the loss and break into tears, turning her face away from the cameras, so as not to display her emotion .. I felt bad for her !! Never mind .. tomorrow is another day .. my dear !!”
As far as the match is concerned, SRH could manage only 113 runs after batting first and KKR chased the target successfully in less than 11 overs. This is the third time KKR has won the trophy, congratulations KKR!
