ICC announces new Test rankings; Team India’s at the top 

Almost all of Team India’s players are presently competing in the IPL 2023. In addition, preparations are being undertaken for the ICC World Test Championship final. Which will begin on June 7 at The Oval in England.

The World Test Championship, or WTC final, will include a match between India and Australia. But, in the meantime, the ICC has issued some significant news. The ICC has revealed this week’s ICC rankings, and the astonishing thing is that Australia is no longer the world’s number one Test side.  Team India has dethroned them and taken over the number one spot.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the new team rankings. With a rating of 121, Team India has taken the lead. In comparison, Team India currently has 3031 points, which is significantly higher than Australia. At the same time, Australia will have to be content with second place. Australia has a grade of 116 and a total of 2679 points. The rating gap between India and Australia is not significant. The World Test Championship final will determine who will be the world’s number one team following this.

The WTC final will be held from June 7 to June 11, with June 12 set aside as a backup day in case of rain. Following these two top teams, England is ranked third. England has 4103 points and a grade of 114. England has 4103 points and a grade of 114. Apart from them, South Africa is ranked fourth, while New Zealand is ranked fifth.

Apart from Tests, Team India is also the best in T20. His rating is 267, and his points are 18, 445.  It is followed by England, which ranks second with a rating of 261, Pakistan, which ranks third with a rating of 255, and South Africa, which ranks fourth with a rating of 253. New Zealand is ranked fifth, with a score of 253.

Although the Indian team has not been able to hold the number one position in ODIs, Australia is first, followed by New Zealand. In one-day internationals, Australia and New Zealand have a rating of 113, while Team India has the same rating. Despite this, Australia remains the number one team, with the Indian side occupying the number three spot.
