The famous actress turned politician Kangana Ranaut is one of the most outspoken and straightforward actresses of Bollywood. She has spoken against many actresses, including Alia Bhatt. Recently, Kangana praises Alia Bhatt, surprising many in the industry.
However, currently a video is going viral in which Kangana is seen praising director Meghna Gulzar and Alia for her performance in Raazi (2018). She said, “I really liked Raazi. A splendid job by Meghna Gulzar. I have no words (for Alia), she is so good. Meghna and Alia had called me for a trial (preview) but I couldn’t attend it because I was shooting at the time. But I promised them that I would see it soon. She is the crowned queen, undisputed queen most definitely. It’s Alia’s world and we are just living in it.” Kangana praises Alia
But soon they had a fall-out and while telling the reason behind it, Kangana stated, “These girls send me their trailers like Alia sent me the trailer of Raazi and said, ‘Please watch it’. For me, it was not a Karan Johar film or Alia film, for me, it was a film on Sehmat Khan, the girl who has given her everything to the country.”
Kangana added that she went all out to support other actresses but when she needed support, there was no response.
She further said, “After Tanu Weds Manu, I have had so many trials (exclusive preview shows), they would just not come. But when it comes to them, they call me shamelessly, I even sort of cancel my shoots and make sure I attend them. Now, I have stopped because it’s getting too much.”
