Saif Ali Khan has expanded his real estate portfolio once again, this time beyond Indian borders. Known for his opulent Pataudi Palace and stylish Bandra apartment, the actor has now invested in a high-end property at The Residences at The St Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl, in Qatar.
The decision to acquire this luxury home seems deeply personal for Saif, especially in light of recent events. Earlier this year, he was the victim of a violent attack at his Mumbai residence that left him with injuries requiring surgery to remove a knife fragment near his spine. Despite the trauma, Saif returned to work within days, displaying his characteristic resilience. Yet, the incident seems to have influenced his outlook on what a home should offer.
At a press conference hosted by the Alfardan Group, Saif shared what drew him to the Qatari property. “Think of a holiday home or a second home. There are a few things I think of. One is that it’s not very far away and it’s easily accessible. And then the other thing is, the most important thing is that it’s very safe and it feels very good to be there,” he explained.
