There is something not right in the Bachchan house as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is always seen with her daughter only, while all other members of the Bachchan family are seen together.
Recently, in the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the whole Bachchan family arrived together but Aishwarya arrived with her daughter separately.
However, there was a time when Amitabh Bachchan used to share a good bond with Aishwarya Rai even before she got married to Abhishek as Big B worked with Aishwarya in few movies earlier.
In an old episode of Koffee with Karan, Jaya Bachchan stated that Amitabh Bachchan doesn’t see Aishwarya as daughter-in-law, he sees her as his daughter. Jaya Bachchan said, “Whenever he sees her, he becomes happy. He never saw Aishwarya as a daughter-in-law. He always saw Aishwarya as a daughter. Amitji, the minute he sees her, it’s like he’s looking at Shweta coming home. His eyes light up. She’ll fill the vacuum that Shweta left.”
