Bollywood superstar Salman Khan may have been a part of some controversies but he is also known as a generous and helpful person. In fact, there are many people who can vouch for Bhai’s helping nature and one of them is famous producer/director Karan Johar.
In one of the old video clips from Koffee with Karan, KJo revealed that almost every actor including Saif Ali Khan and Chandrachur Singh refused to do the role of Aman in his movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai as it was a second lead role. He further said, “I was almost falling into depression after every horn refused, and the last time I went to Chunky Pandey’s party where I happened to meet Salman, he told him that nobody would do this role; I would do it for you; I respect your father; I narrated Salman the first half of the film, and he said yes; I told him to listen to the second half as you were there then; he agreed to it without even listening to his part.”

It was not the first time that Salman Khan helped someone from the industry, when Chak De India was offered to Bhaijaan by Aditya Chopra, he suggested Shah Rukh’s name because the Wanted actor felt that the movie needed a better actor.
