Kartik Aaryan’s Uncle and Aunt Killed in Mumbai Hoarding Collapse

Recently, Mumbai, India’s economic center, was hit by a powerful dust storm. At least 16 individuals lost their lives when a massive hoarding in Ghatkopar toppled during the storm. Actor Kartik Aaryan’s family, Manoj Chansoria and his wife Anita, were among those recognized as General Managers of Air Traffic Control (ATC). It is said that the actor, who is presently occupied with marketing his next movie, “Chandu Champion,” attended their cremation on May 16 at the Sahar crematorium.

At before 4:30 p.m., high winds caused a 250-ton hoarding to collapse upon their red SUV at a petrol station, according to a story by The Indian Express. Almost two days went by before their bodies were found. It is yet unknown how exactly long ago the incident occurred. According to reports, the couple travelled to Mumbai to finish the documentation for their visa so they could visit their son Yash, who lives in the United States.

Yash lost contact with his parents on Monday. He inquired for updates from his father’s coworkers later that night. According to the report, their son had been attempting to get in touch with them since May 13 at 5 p.m. He couldn’t get through to Manoj, and because Anita wasn’t picking up, he sent out an assistance request to his father’s colleagues.

Yash came in from the US as soon as he heard about the tragedy. On Thursday, the last rituals were performed at a Sahar crematorium. Kartik Aaryan reportedly went to the funeral as well. Kartik Aaryan’s relative was Manoj Chansoria, a retired general manager from the Airports Authority of India.

In respect to Kartik’s career, he will next be seen in “Chandu Champion,” directed by Kabir Khan. On June 14, 2024, the film is scheduled to premiere on large screens. Fans are excitedly awaiting the debut of one of the most highly anticipated films of the year.
