Shaheer Sheikh, widely recognized for his roles in popular TV series like Sanya, Navya, Best of Luck Nikki, and Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, has recently ventured into Bollywood with his debut in Do Patti. The thriller, directed by Shahshank Chaturvedi, sees Sheikh sharing the screen with Kajol and Kriti Sanon, a pairing that has intrigued fans. Sanon, who both acted in and produced the film, recently shared her thoughts on Sheikh’s massive fan following.
In an interview, Kriti Sanon expressed her admiration for Sheikh’s dedicated fan base, acknowledging that while she was aware of his popularity, she truly recognized its extent when a clip from Do Patti went viral. “His fan following is crazy,” Sanon remarked. “I saw it not just when we were filming but more so when a clip from the film took off online. His fans are incredibly loyal and passionate, which I believe he’s earned through consistently good work.”
In Do Patti, Sheikh takes on the role of Dhruv Sood, while the storyline follows two sisters who decide to take a stand against domestic violence. Kajol plays a significant role in the film, and for Kriti Sanon, the project marks her first as a producer under her Blue Butterfly Films banner. The movie is currently streaming on Netflix and has garnered a mixed reception from both critics and viewers, although Sheikh’s performance has been particularly praised.
