Actress Kritika Kamra and sports presenter Gaurav Kapur recently began a new chapter in their lives as they got married in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. The wedding took place on March 11 at Kapur’s residence and was attended by close family members along with a few friends from the film and entertainment industry.
Though the gathering was small and private, several well-known celebrities were spotted at the celebration. Among them were Farhan Akhtar, Malaika Arora, Neha Dhupia, and Soha Ali Khan. Despite the presence of these popular personalities, all eyes remained on the newly married couple as they stepped out together later in the evening to pose for photographs.
For the wedding, Kritika chose a classic and elegant bridal look. She wore a beautiful red saree that combined traditional style with a subtle and modern touch. The saree appeared to be made from luxurious silk-satin fabric, possibly a high-quality crepe silk known for its smooth texture and graceful drape. Its gentle shine highlighted the deep red colour, giving it a timeless bridal appeal. The saree also featured a delicate border with fine zardosi embroidery, which added a traditional detail while keeping the overall look simple and elegant.
She paired the saree with a sleeveless blouse in the same shade of red. The blouse had a plunging V-shaped neckline with a sweetheart-style structure, giving the outfit a contemporary edge while balancing the richness of the jewellery. The fabric seemed to be a silk-blend material with subtle stripe detailing, which complemented the saree and added a layer of visual texture.
Kritika’s jewellery played an important role in completing her bridal look. She wore an elaborate Victorian-inspired Polki set that became the highlight of the ensemble. The layered necklaces included a choker and a longer haar, both decorated with large uncut Polki stones. Small emerald-green drops were incorporated into the design, adding contrast and depth to the gold-toned jewellery. Crafted with an antique gold-gilt finish, the pieces carried a vintage charm.
She paired the necklaces with statement chandbali earrings designed in the same style. To finish the look, Kritika wore a bold bangle on her right wrist and two floral statement rings, one on each hand.
Meanwhile, Gaurav Kapur chose a simple yet sophisticated outfit for the ceremony. He wore an elegant ivory bandhgala jacket over a crisp white shirt, paired with tailored white trousers. The monochromelook gave him a polished and refined appearance that perfectly matched the intimate atmosphere of the wedding celebration.
Congratulations to the couple!
