LifeSigns raises funds to boost its health-tech business

LifeSigns, a health-tech startup, has raised funding from renowned pathologist Dr. SP Ganesan and others. It is a grant to expand operations and improve patient care through the use of a continuous patient monitoring system.

LifeSignsiMS (a trademark of LS Devices Pvt. Ltd.), a Chennai-based health-tech firm working on a digital wireless patient monitoring solution platform for ambulatory, inpatient, and home care settings, has secured an undisclosed sum in a pre-Series A fundraising round.

Investors took part in the round, including Dr. SP Ganesan, a well-known Pathologist from Chennai with over 40 years of expertise. The monies received will be utilised to expedite the iMS platform’s growth throughout India.

LifeSigns develops technology for patient monitoring in hospitals, at home, and in ambulances. LifeSigns continually delivers high-quality, clinical-grade patient vital data to healthcare professionals everywhere, at any time, at a fair cost.

LifeSigns recently teamed with Kerala-based Amala Hospital, a major multi-disciplinary hospital chain, to establish a new and unique smart ward using LifeSigns’ wearable wireless technology.

LifeSigns has collaborated with private and public government hospitals across India, currently managing close to 5100+ beds deployed on 28000+ patients in 48+ hospitals, including the largest private hospital chain and the largest public hospital, to help them deliver better cost efficient patient care using the most modern technology.
