There is no denying the fact that people have become insensitive, impatient and angrier by nature in the present times and human life doesn’t hold much importance for them in front of their anger.
A 20 years old nursing student who has been identified as Fousia was found dead in a hotel room in Chennai. The name of the hotel is CLC Works Road and it is situated in Chromepet; she checked in the hotel with her boyfriend Ashiq at around 10:30 am and they both had an argument as Fousia was angry after seeing pics of Ashiq with other women in Ashiq’s phone.
As per police, the couple had an argument and then Ashiq strangled Fousia to death with her t-shirt and then he uploaded photos of Fousia’s dead body on his WhatsApp status. When those photos were seen by the common friends of the couple, they informed the police about it.
Ashiq is from Kollam, Kerala and according to the police, they both were in a relationship for 5 years, secretly got married and also had a kid whom they put up for adoption in Chikmagalur.
However, 2 years back, they both got separated after Fousia came to know about Ashiq’s affair with other women and she even filed a police complaint against him. Ashiq was sent to jail after he was booked under the POCSO act but after getting released, he apologized to Fousia who forgave him and they patched up.
The police has arrested Ashiq with the help of CCTV footage and the investigation is also underway.
