In the Kupwara region of North Kashmir, a fire started near the Dar Gali bus station, destroying about 20 stores and one residential home. Firefighters, law enforcement, and locals raced to put out the fire. There were no recorded injuries or fatalities.
Early this morning, a fire started in the Kupwara region of North Kashmir, near the Dar Gali Bus Stand. The fire damaged about 20 shops as well as one house.
Locals, police, and fire fighters hurried to the location as soon as they received the information in order to put out the fire. Thankfully, the event did not result in any recorded casualties or injuries. We are now awaiting more details on the event. The Indian Army, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, and representatives of the Kupwara District Administration were keeping an eye on the rescue efforts.
