The dynamic chairperson and founder of Project Eka Foundation, Ms Puja Rawat Sethi, is among the few individuals who have made a huge difference in her corner of the world with her signature skills, intentions, and passion. To recognize the outstanding contribution of this bright and young philanthropic, Economic Times (India’s top media house) conferred its Prestigious ET Change Maker of the Year 2022 Award to her in the spectacular event held on 20th July.
Ms Puja Rawat Sethi also holds 20+ years of corporate Learning and Development experience by her side. She is an expert in nurturing talent, identifying potential, and honing skills in young minds.

Going above and beyond in her corporate life to create and sustain positive change, Puja worked to open a sustainable way forward as an agent of change for the betterment of humanity. She founded her NGO- Project Eka Foundation an year ago to make a difference in people’s lives irrespective of societal circumstances.
Under her Social Service Foundation, the learning evangelist Puja Rawat has taken ‘boots on the ground’ initiatives like ‘Right to education under Project Sharda, several ‘Skill-based Vocational Training programs’ under Project Kushalya, and touching lives with Project Hello Zindagi, where her team works towards strategizing and establishing innovative out-of-the-box programs to support livelihoods. Apart from the above, she and her team have assisted many other social upliftment programs before and during the pandemic. More than 10,000+ lives were touched through different initiatives during COVID relief work that included distributing food materials and setting up health camps with testing facilities & medical supplies.
In less than one year, her nonprofit foundation has been able to touch the lives of hundreds of students through her three schools in two cities of India in Delhi and Kanpur. Her foundation also partnered with India Post to spread the Sukanyna Samriddhi Yojana for daughters of India. Her foundation even ran several Crowdfunding campaigns to save patients’ lives who couldn’t afford the treatment. Her efforts towards social service were recognized at prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Awards 2022 too.
Married to Mr Anurag Sethi for 18 years, Puja is strongly supported by her family, including her daughter, in this endeavour. Besides her role as a humanitarian and successful businesswoman, Puja is a wonderful artist, a trained Kathak dancer, a phenomenal cook, and a food connoisseur. Website – www.project-eka.com
