In the final of the Indian Premier League 2023, which was played on the reserve day on Monday (May 29), MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings defeated Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans by a score of five wickets. The match had to be moved to the reserve day since the rain in Ahmedabad made it impossible to play on Sunday (May 28) at the Narendra Modi Stadium. To win their sixth Indian Premier League championship in the past 14 years, the Men in Yellow overcame a target of 171 runs with one ball remaining in the game. Ravindra Jadeja, a great all-rounder for the team captained by Dhoni and led by Ravindra Jadeja, struck a six and a four on the last two balls of the match to secure the historic victory for CSK.
