MS Dhoni’s Playing XI: The Ultimate Suspense for CSK’s Bid to Become Number One!

Today at 7 o’clock, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Sunrisers Hyderabad, led by MS Dhoni and Aiden Markram, respectively, will square off in the IPL 2023 encounter at Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium. The MS Dhoni-captained Chennai Super Kings will have the opportunity to go up to the top spot in the standings during this unique encounter.

However, MS Dhoni, the skipper, is not physically fit and has knee trouble. Only at 7 o’clock, when the toss is conducted, will the ultimate decision be made over whether Dhoni will play or not. The head-to-head competition between these two teams has so far resulted in 14 victories for CSK and just five victories for SRH.

The SRH squad is ninth in the points rankings and is underperforming. If MS Dhoni does not participate, it will be a disappointment for both Chennai and IPL fans. MS Dhoni is not renowned for making many changes to his starting XI, especially when the side is winning. Only Dwayne Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad will play as openers in this circumstance.

Ajinkya Rahane is playing beautifully at number three, Shivam Dubey has also had some nice innings at number four, Ambati Rayudu, Moin Ali, and Ravindra Jadeja are all expected to play, while Mahisha Tikshne, Tushar Deshpande, and Mahisha Pathirana can all be included in today’s playing XI.

The greatest issue will be who would lead the squad in the absence of MS Dhoni. The strongest candidate for this would be Ravindra Jadeja, who took over as CSK captain before the 2022 IPL, but left the captaincy in the middle. In addition to Ravindra Jadeja, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ambati Rayudu, and Ajinkya Rahane can head the team.
