The Indian cricketer Amit Mishra recently made headlines when he talked about the Virat Kohli-Gautam Gambhir verbal spat (IPL 2023) during a podcast and some of his statements about Virat Kohli haven’t gone well with the fans of ViratThe spat took place during an IPL 2023 match which was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants and it started with on-field verbal spat between Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq.

Things once again got heated when the handshakes were taking place among the players of both the teams and this time Gautam Gambhir also got into an ugly brawl with Virat Kohli.

During the podcast, Amit Mishra stated, “For social media, it all seemed to be over between them. But do you think Naveen will respect Kohli ever again? What about the youngsters who saw the incident where a big star was abusing others.”

Now, in a recently released video, the Afghanistan cricketer Naveen-ul-Haq repeated once again that both of them have moved on. He said “I don’t have the count of it but many times now I have been asked about and have made it clear. It was in the heat of the moment. He was representing his franchise and I was representing mine. It’s what I do. If it’s for my country or my franchise, I won’t back down.”

He further said, “At the end of the day, we are all friends. Some of us are colleagues and we just brush it out. It’s nothing that personal which would continue outside the field. But yes, social media keeps it going on till it gets something out of it. In the ODI World Cup, it finished once and for all.”

During the 2023 ODI World Cup, Virat Kohli asked the Delhi crowd not to tease Naveen during the match between India and Afghanistan.
