Pakistan has shut down its airspace to Indian aircraft, which has a significant effect on international travel. It is anticipated that international flight times will increase now that Pakistan has closed its airspace. Particularly from Delhi and other northern cities, the rates on some routes are also anticipated to grow by 8–12% shortly.
Given the current circumstances, Air India said on X (previously Twitter) that several of its flights to and from North America, the UK, Europe, and the Middle East may be redirected via longer, alternative routes due to the most recent restrictions. It is recommended that travelers prepare for delays and adjust their travel schedules accordingly.

“A few international flight schedules may be impacted due to the ongoing situation and Pakistan airspace closure,” IndiGo also said in a customer travel alert. We are making every effort to minimize the disruption.
Pakistan reportedly blocked all Indian flights and Indian-operated airlines from using its airspace on Thursday. Given that closing airspace will result in longer trips, more time, and more fares, this is a significant decision.
While the act’s savagery shocks the globe, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised to find and punish the terrorists responsible.
Witnesses claimed that the terrorists emerged from pine forests and began shooting at innocent people who were relaxing, riding ponies, or spending time with their families. The images from the scene put the entire world in tears. The majority of the deceased were tourists, including two foreigners from Nepal and the United Arab Emirates, as well as two locals.
