On Tuesday, actor Allu Arjun was questioned by the Hyderabad Police about a stampede that occurred during a special screening of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre. The incident led to the tragic death of a fan named Revathy. The police called the actor for an inquiry, claiming they had informed him about the stampede and Revathy’s death while he was at the theater.
During the questioning, Allu Arjun faced several direct questions. Reports suggested he was asked whether he knew police permission had been denied for his appearance at the screening, who decided to proceed despite this denial, whether he was informed about the stampede at the time, and when he became aware of the fan’s death. According to sources, the actor grew emotional during the session, which lasted about three hours. He was shown videos of the stampede, including scenes of injuries suffered by Revathy and another fan, Sritej. Witnessing these visuals reportedly left him deeply upset.
So far, Allu Arjun has not made any public statement about the incident or the inquiry.
