The “Munna Bhai” franchise starring Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi in lead roles is one of the most loved and most successful franchises of the Indian Cinema and as the first two movies of the franchise were highly successful on the box-office, fans are expecting director Rajkumar Hirani to come up with the third installment.
However, some netizens are of the opinion that the third movie has either been scrapped or the story of the third part has been adapted and converted into “Dunki”.
“Dunki” stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role and as per the reports, this flick is based on illegal immigration. Now if you remember, the main plot of the third movie was about Munna Bhai and Circuit going to America.
While few still feel that Rajkumar Hirani along with writer Abhijaat Joshi are working towards finalizing the script for the third movie of the “Munna Bhai” franchise, others feel that Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi joining the cast of “Aawara Paagal Deewana 2” straightaway confirms that there is no chance of the third part in the present scenario.
Though Hirani was working on the third part few years back, then Sanjay Dutt was sent to prison as per the verdict of 1993 Bombay bomb blast case and the director chose to work on other projects – “PK” and then “Sanju”.
