Three decades have passed since Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan last shared the screen as parallel leads in Karan Arjun, the iconic film directed by Rakesh Roshan where they played brothers. Over the years, their personal equation has seen its fair share of ups and downs.
While they have continued to make special appearances in each other’s films—most recently in Pathaan—they haven’t headlined a project together since.
Fans were eagerly awaiting their grand reunion in Yash Raj Films’ highly anticipated Pathaan vs Tiger, but recent reports suggest that the project has been put on hold. Amid this uncertainty, Rakesh Roshan has expressed confidence in his ability to reunite the two superstars on screen. In a recent interview, the filmmaker shared that if he finds a compelling story where both their characters have equally significant arcs—just as they did in Karan Arjun—he is certain he can bring them back together.
For those unaware, Shah Rukh made special appearances in Salman’s Tubelight and Tiger 3, while Salman had cameo roles in Zero and Pathaan. Though they have continued to share the screen in brief moments, fans have long awaited a full-fledged collaboration.
With Rakesh Roshan showing interest in making it happen, the possibility of seeing the two Khans reunite as co-leads remains an exciting prospect.
