On the occasion of his 40th birthday, the title of Ram Charan’s 16th film was officially revealed along with his much-anticipated first look. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, director Buchi Babu Sana unveiled posters of the film, now titled Peddi, which was previously known by its tentative title, RC16.
The first-look poster presents Ram Charan in a rugged and intense avatar, exuding an earthy and fiercely raw energy. His piercing eyes, disheveled hair, untamed beard, and a striking nose ring add to the intensity of his character. In the image, he sports a striped red outfit while confidently smoking a cigar. The second poster offers a different glimpse, showing him gripping an old cricket bat with a rustic village stadium illuminated by floodlights in the background.
Director Buchi Babu Sana shared these striking visuals with a heartfelt message, writing, “Happy Birthday my Dear @AlwaysRamCharan Sir..In one word you are Gold Sir. Tqq for everything Sir.”
The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. Peddi has been penned by Buchi Babu Sana and is being presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas.
