Veteran media figure and head of the Ramoji Group Ramoji Rao passed away on Saturday in a hospital in Hyderabad at the age of 87. Ramoji Rao was recalled by a number of celebrities, including Jr. NTR, Mahesh Babu, Kangana Ranaut, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Ramoji Rao left behind a son and a wife. On June 5, he was brought to a Hyderabad hospital because of respiratory issues.
