The trailer of Karan Johar directed Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani released recently and it has created quite a buzz on social media as people are loving the chemistry between Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh and the trade analysts are also quite sure that the movie will get a big opening.
The movie is slated to release on 28 July 2023 and the whole story revolves around the love story of Ranveer and Alia. While Ranveer belongs to a rich Punjabi family and he has played a loud character, Alia is from a rich and sophisticated Bengali family and they both decide to switch their families for a period of 3 months in order to get their family members ready for their marriage.
One scene from the trailer is making audiences laugh out loud as Ranveer Singh talks about the controversial reality show Bigg Boss. In the scene, Alia’s grandmother Shabana Azmi talks about 42 percent voting while reading the newspaper after which Alia’s mother Churni Ganguly says that voting is our national duty as citizens. Ranveer Singh is unaware of the fact that they are talking about elections, he thinks that they are discussing voting in Bigg Boss and he also expresses his opinion, “Maine toh vote dena hi band kardiya, main toh kehta hoon aap bhi band kardo, kya fayda, Shamita toh hai nahin.”
