As the stock of Tata Group company Titan rose on Friday, the wealth of late investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala increased by Rs 300 crore in just one day. Titan stock closed, on Friday, at Rs 2,732.00, up 2.31 per cent.
Rekha Jhunjhunwala is handling his portfolio, since Rakesh Jhunjhunwala died last year. Rekha Jhunjhunwala holds a major share in Titan.
She owns 5.29 per cent share in Titan, as per data from the company’s stockholding pattern for the March 2023 quarter. This means, Rekha Jhunjhunwala holds a total of 4,69,45,970 stock of Titan.
Titan’s stock had rose up to Rs.65 on Friday, because of which Rekha Jhunjhunwala’s wealth grew by Rs.3,051,488,050. In the past one year, there has been a rise of about 24 per cent in the stock of Titan. Titan stock have reached the level of Rs.2207 to Rs.2734 in 12 months.
