Riteish Deshmukh, currently immersed in the promotional circuit for his upcoming film Raid 2, recently shared his thoughts on the nature of support within the film industry. In light of an earlier comment made by Salman Khan during the Sikandar promotions, where the superstar mentioned that even he sometimes lacks support for his films, Riteish was asked to weigh in on the topic.
He responded by highlighting Salman’s generous spirit and his consistent efforts to uplift others. According to Riteish, Salman doesn’t wait to be asked—he takes initiative on his own. “Maybe he was right saying that…He always calls me and says, ‘Send me your trailer right now.’ He will make sure he wants to do it for you. And that’s the kind of relationship person he is. It is beyond him to ask. For him, that’s what he sticks by,” Riteish shared in conversation with Nayandeep Rakshit.
Elaborating on the camaraderie within the industry, Riteish Deshmukh noted how people tend to show up for those who have supported them—and even for those who haven’t. His words reinforced the idea that true support often comes unprompted and without expectations, something he sees exemplified in Salman’s actions.
