Founded in 1993, Sanjay Ghodawat Group (SGG) is a leading Indian business conglomerate with a diverse presence across key business sectors. These include Aviation, Consumer Products, Education, Energy, Mining, Realty, Retail, and Textiles. Ghodawat Retail Ltd

Ghodawat Retail Ltd, the retail arm of SGG, was established in 2020 and quickly gained attention with its rural startup ‘Star Localmart.’ This initiative creates a locally-sourced ecosystem, encouraging local entrepreneurs to showcase their products and fostering community growth.

Ghodawat Consumer Ltd.

GCL, the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) arm of SGG, reached a revenue of INR 1,600 crores in FY 22-23, with a target of INR 2,000 crores by FY 24-25. The ‘Star’ brand, under GCL, is known for its wide range of products, including atta, snacks, and packaged water. GCL has also expanded its product line with strategic acquisitions, such as TBH (To Be Honest) healthy snacks and Coolberg non-alcoholic beverages.

Star Air

Star Air largest regional airline – the aviation division of SGG, was launched in 2019 under India’s RCS (UDAN) initiative. It focuses on enhancing regional connectivity, primarily serving Tier II and Tier III cities. Star Air operates with a fleet of Embraer E145 and E175 aircraft, known for their comfort and reliability. It currently serves 22 destinations across India, offering a smooth travel experience. 

Sanjay Ghodawat University

Sanjay Ghodawat University (SGU), a State Private University established in 2017, evolved from the Sanjay Ghodawat Institutes founded in 2009. With an NAAC A grade and NBA accreditation, SGU offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across various fields, including Technology, Management, Commerce, and Law. SGU is recognized for its flexible credit system and industry-focused curriculum.

Ghodawat Realty Ltd. (GRL)

GRL, the real estate arm of SGG, was founded in 1997. It has delivered over 4 million sq. ft. of high-quality residential and commercial projects in Maharashtra and Karnataka. GRL emphasizes transparency and quality, with projects like Ghodawat Sky Star in Mumbai’s Goregaon West.

RENOM Energy Services Ltd

RENOM, the energy arm of SGG, established in 2015, specializes in operations and maintenance services for wind turbines and solar plants. As India’s only Independent Service Provider (ISP) with multi-technology expertise, RENOM manages over 20,000 MW across 7 states and 70 locations.

Ghodawat Textile

Ghodawat Textile, founded in 2006, operates under the ‘Star Line’ brand, producing a range of premium fabrics, including cotton, lycra, and linen. It has a yearly production capacity exceeding 15 million meters.

Ghodawat Energy

Launched in 2015, Ghodawat Energy focuses on delivering innovative services for Wind Turbines (11.8-22 MW) and Solar plants (10.30 MW). It aims to be a leading Independent Service Provider (ISP) in the renewable energy sector.
