Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed Heeramandi is getting a lot of love from the audiences and majority of the actors are also being praised but one actress is getting trolled heavily because of her poor acting performance.
Yes, you guessed it right, we are talking about Sharmin Segal who played the character of Alamzeb, many people trolled her by saying that she got the role because of nepotism and not for her talent. Sharmin is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece and recently the director opened up on Sharmin’s performance. He recalled that during the shoot, Sharmin kept saying, “Mama, I’ll underplay.’ I said, ‘Underplay? Are you thinking I’m going to ask you to overplay?”
He adds that he likes the new energy of young actors and finds it fascinating. In his words, “I know that they (the new generation of actors) love me as much. I can see it in the way (they ask me), ‘Are you happy? Should we do one more take? Can we do it one more time? Are you okay? I can see that love in their eyes. Now that’s very rare.”
What is your take on this matter?
