The 15-member Indian squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 has been announced by the BCCI and based on his superb performances in the ongoing IPL 2024, Sanju Samson has managed to grab a place in the Indian squad as the second choice wicketkeeper.
Sanju Samson has been leading the IPL team Rajasthan Royals for the last three seasons and it won’t be wrong to say that under his leadership, RR has played pretty well. If we talk about the IPL 2024, RR is at the top of the points table with 8 wins in 9 matches and it is almost certain that they will play in the play-offs.

When Sanju Samson was asked about it, he gave a very mature answer, he said “That’s a very tricky question, we definitely were thinking about it; everyone is thinking about the batting positions… Sanju kahan batting karega and all (where will Sanju bat). But equally, I feel it is also important for the team that they try to win the IPL. As of now, winning the IPL is more important. The players should focus on that goal only.”
