SpiceJet’s Managing Director Ajay Singh has made an investment in a new business in the healthcare sector. Singh is looking to develop a one-stop destination for booking healthcare and diagnostic tests with partner labs, with the startup called Flebo.

SpiceJet’s Managing Director Ajay Singh has invested in the healthcare company Flebo, which provides sample collecting services to medical diagnostic labs, in his personal capacity, according to a statement released on Monday.

Flebo says, it allows impaneled laboratories to contact clients outside of their immediate local region, which eliminates the need for labs to hire their own home collection agents. The Flebo team currently consists of more than 100 trained, well-qualified, and customer-focused in-house phlebotomists for home collection of blood and other samples, with plans to expand to several thousand.

According to the company, Flebo handles sample collection from homes, medical diagnostic labs, and seeks to deliver pathology, hematological, molecular diagnostics, and health packages.

Ajay Singh is SpiceJet’s promoter, Chairman and Managing Director. He is also the chairman and founder of Flebo.

With Flebo, Singh is looking to develop a one-stop destination for booking healthcare and diagnostic tests with partner labs in as many districts as feasible.
