Amar shared that Akshay was enthusiastic right from the start, saying, “Karunga beta, bilkul karunga,” and confirmed his participation as soon as he heard the details of the role.

Amar also spoke about the camaraderie between Akshay and Abhishek, who plays a key role in the film. In the movie, Akshay’s character, a patient in a Bhopal psychiatric hospital, mistakenly believes Abhishek’s character is his long-lost lover. This scene, which was largely improvised, saw Akshay suggesting Abhishek sit in his lap, a change that added to the humor of the moment.
