Stree 2, the horror-comedy sequel starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has been making waves at the box office since its release on August 15, 2024. On its fourth day, the film continued its impressive run, collecting a whopping ₹58.20 crore, bringing its total to ₹204 crore in India. This performance places Stree 2 among the top-grossing Bollywood films of the year, crossing the ₹200 crore mark within just four days.
The film, directed by Amar Kaushik, benefitted from the extended Independence Day weekend, which allowed it to draw large crowds. Stree 2 had already set the tone with a strong start, earning ₹ 55.40 crore on its opening day and maintaining momentum over the weekend. By Sunday, it had achieved the highest single-day collection since its release, driven by a high occupancy rate, especially during the evening and night shows.
