In an interview with a leading media outlet, Sunil disclosed that he had the unique opportunity to serve as Amitabh Bachchan’s body double in the upcoming sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD.
Sunil Kumar, whose popularity surged with his performance in the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer, reflected on the unforgettable experience of working alongside Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. He recounted their first encounter, where Bachchan’s warmth and humility left a lasting impression. Sunil described a particularly surreal moment when the iconic actor approached him to take a photo together—an honor that Kumar cherishes deeply.
In his interview, Sunil elaborated on the demanding nature of his role as Bachchan’s body double, particularly in the physically intense action sequences. “Amitabh sir ke saath 1-1.5 months shooting hui thi. Ek mahina Prabhas sir ke saath,” Sunil said, highlighting the extensive time he spent on set working with both Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas.
