Ticket 9 raises $120K to move its event tech business forward

Ticket 9 has secured $120K in a pre-seed funding round. The even tech startup will have the money to advance product development, improve team, technological stack, and market growth.

A sum of $120K has been raised in the pre-seed funding round for event technology startup Ticket 9. The round was co-led by Prabhu Rangarajan, Vijay Pravin Maharajan, Ashok Vardharajan, Sundararaman Ramasamy, Mohan K, and JaiKumar.

Other angel investors from the United States, Singapore, Australia, and Bangkok also participated in the round. According to a news statement issued by Ticket 9, the business intends to put the cash to use in order to advance the product development process, as well as to improve the team, the technological stack, and the market growth efforts.

Ticket 9 is an event technology firm that was co-founded by Yazhini Shanmugam and Santhos Premraj. The company develops software as a service (SaaS) solutions and offers a full suite of tools that can be used to organize, manage, advertise, and monetize events of any kind and scale. The platform assists event organizers in streamlining event administration in order to increase revenue development and assists event aficionados in discovering more individualized events in their immediate area.

The company, which has its headquarters in Coimbatore, claims that it was founded on the principle that anybody, wherever in the globe, who wants to organize an event, sell tickets or engage attendees and empower technology in events, should have an effective platform that makes it easy to accomplish all of those things.

Ticket 9 has a physical presence in a number of Indian cities, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Bengaluru.
