Tiffin Box Sales to Rs 20 crore Turnover: The Inspiring Story of This Businessman

When Nikhil Gandhi saw his father run the whole company section by himself, he was motivated by his fortitude and diligence. After graduating from Prabhu Dayal Public School in 2008 with his Class 12 diploma, he enrolled in the BBA programme at Bharati Vidyapeeth University in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi.

He joined a buddy who worked in construction during his last year of college, earning enough money to cover his costs and purchase electronic equipment. He pursued his MBA in International Business and Finance at Bharati Vidyapeeth University in Pune after earning his BBA. Nikhil joined his father in 2010 with the intention of building upon the family tradition.

When King Trader just dealt with one product, Nikhil began looking on methods to expand. Nikhil Gandhi sought to change course and launch a new sector by reselling produced items in China and India. He travelled to China in 2012 and purchased a container of kitchenware to market in India.

But his first plan to import goods from China turned out to be unworkable, and his commercial strategy did not provide the anticipated financial gains. Instead, he took the decision to tour the whole nation in search of export-quality Indian goods.

He went out to choose a wide variety of steel items for export from all around India. He created a second proprietorship in 2012, King International, under which he was now marketing his goods. The Gandhi family’s major source of income during this time was the manufacturing facility, which was still operating. The Gandhi family ceased making tiffin boxes in 2013–14 and expanded their business. The business has consistently expanded since making the switch to curating a variety of items.

The major turning moment for King International, according to Nikhil, occurred when his wife, Mahima Gandhi, offered to take over selling on the burgeoning online markets. Along with exports, Nikhil also started customising and printing steel goods, which has proven popular with business clients searching for eco-friendly gifting options. The Gandhi family is about to launch its first retail location in the Delhi NCR region as they prepare to target the domestic retail industry.

Suresh, Nikhil, and Mahima Gandhi are committed to growing the company and crossing the 50-crore turnover threshold shortly. The pair enjoys travelling and discovering new locations, as does their daughter Shanaya Gandhi.
