Actor Gurucharan Singh, best known for his role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is currently hospitalized and facing serious financial difficulties. His close friend Bhakti Soni has revealed that Singh is under a debt of ₹1.5 crore and struggling without support from his family during this challenging time.
According to Bhakti, Singh had a debt of around ₹1.2 crore initially. She mentioned that his father owns a property valued at ₹55 crore, but a dispute with the tenants has prevented the sale of the property. If the legal issues are resolved, Singh would be able to clear his financial liabilities.
Bhakti also shared that the actor has depleted his savings and is receiving limited support. She expressed concern that when he needs help the most, even his family has not stepped in. Singh has been relying on financial assistance from Bhakti and another friend in Delhi.
In July 2024, Gurucharan Singh had openly admitted to facing financial struggles. Speaking to Bombay Times, he explained that he left Mumbai during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 to start his own business. However, the venture did not succeed due to various challenges, leading to mounting financial stress and emotional turmoil.
Despite the difficult circumstances, Singh continues to battle his health and financial issues, relying on the support of close friends while hoping for better days ahead.
