The South African cricket team registered a huge win against New Zealand by 190 runs in the match which was played yesterday at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune and once again.
South Africa was asked to bat first by the Kiwis and they put up a huge total of 357/4 on the scoreboard with the help of superb batting of Quinton de Kock (114 runs) and Rassie van der Dussen (133 runs). After skipper Temba Bavuma (24 runs) got out early, Quinton and Rassie stood their ground firmly and stitched a partnership of 200 runs which laid the platform for a big score.
Though New Zealand batting line-up is pretty strong, disciplined and wonderful bowling by South African bowlers was quite difficult for them to handle and the whole team got out for just 167 runs in 36 overs. The most successful Proteas bowler was Keshav Maharaj who took 4 wickets in his 9 overs and gave away only 46 runs.
