Royal Challengers Bangalore certainly made a huge comeback in the IPL 2024 as there was a time when they were sitting at the bottom of the points table with only 1 win in the first 8 matches but then they went on to win their next 6 matches straightaway and managed to enter the play-offs.
Many cricket fans are of the opinion that RCB may win their first IPL title this year because they are in a great momentum and the players are determined to script history.
RCB is one of those few teams which haven’t won an IPL title even once, though they managed to reach the finals three times, they lost all the chances. Virat Kohli, the Indian cricketer who is touted as the greatest of all times by his fans has been associated with RCB since 2008 and he has also led the team for 9 seasons (2013-2022) but hasn’t been able to lift the trophy till now.
Recently, the former owner of RCB, Vijay Mallya took to X and talked about the time when he bid for RCB and Virat Kohli and also stated that this is the best chance for RCB to win the trophy. He tweeted, “When I bid for the RCB franchise and I bid for Virat, my inner instinct told me that I could not have made better choices. My inner instinct tells me that RCB have the best chance to go for the IPL Trophy. Onward and Upward. Best of luck.”
