While news of Priyanka Chopra reprising her role has already thrilled fans, even bigger updates are now emerging: reports suggest that Preity Zinta and veteran actress Rekha are also set to join the star-studded ensemble.

Adding to the intrigue, Hrithik Roshan is rumored to play a triple role in this multi-starrer. An entertainment portal cited a source who revealed, “The plan is for Krrish to move through different timelines, past and future, to eliminate a major threat. While high on VFX and production, the film will stay rooted in family emotions and relationships.”

Though detailed updates on the script or storyline remain under wraps, it’s confirmed that the next installment will mark Hrithik Roshan’s directorial debut and incorporate time travel elements, a fresh and unique concept for Bollywood.

Currently, pre-production work for Krrish 4 is in full swing at YRF Studios, with a dedicated VFX team focusing on the film’s pre-visualization. Hrithik is working closely with his writing team and Aditya Chopra to fine-tune the script. The film is expected to begin principal photography in the first quarter of 2026. England’s vice-captain, Harry Brook, has issued a clear warning to India ahead of the fourth day of the Edgbaston Test in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. He stated that “everybody in the world” knows England is prepared to chase “whatever” target the visitors set for them in the final innings.

After posting a formidable 587 in their first innings, India dismissed England for 407, thanks to a six-wicket haul from Mohammed Siraj and a four-fer from Akash Deep. India concluded the day at 64/1, with KL Rahul and Karun Nair at the crease, holding a healthy lead of 244 runs.

“I think everybody in the world knows that we’re going to try and chase whatever they set us,” Brook, who earlier scored a superb 158, confidently stated in the post-day press conference. “We’ve obviously got a big task at hand tomorrow morning and we’ll try and get a couple of wickets early on and try and put them under pressure,” he added.

The 26-year-old emphasized the unpredictable nature of Test cricket. “Obviously, they are in front of the minute, but if we get a couple of early wickets in the morning… you never know how this game can go. As we’ve seen last week, we got 7 for 30 runs and then 6 for 40 runs at Headingley and then they’ve done the same to us today. Everything happened so quickly and you never know how the game can go,” Brook concluded, hinting at the potential for rapid shifts in momentum.

This sixth-wicket stand was instrumental in England’s recovery, propelling them from a precarious 84/5 to an imposing 387/6. Brook contributed a magnificent 158 runs off 234 balls, while Smith aggressively smashed 184 off just 207 deliveries. This partnership marked England’s second-best for the sixth wicket and the third-best against India for the same wicket.

“The runaway train,” Lloyd wrote in his column for the Daily Mail. “This game quickly went away from Shubman Gill. With 587 in the bank, I thought it was strange that the field was so defensive with only two slips. Regardless of the counter from Brook and Smith, that was the time to keep the pressure on. With three slips in there, it would have at least made them think twice because a few chances went there,” he added.

Despite England’s counter-attack, India’s commanding first innings score of 587/10 ultimately proved too high for the hosts. England’s last five wickets tumbled for a mere 20 runs, leaving them with a 180-run deficit.

Shubman Gill and his team concluded the day at 64/1, extending their lead to 244 runs.

“What a topsy-turvy day of cricket, with quite a remarkable scorecard in the end. Six of the England team were out for ducks. They were staring down the barrel, then came a magnificent counter attack and then from nowhere, the tail was blown away by Siraj, with Smith left high and dry on 184. Surely somebody could have stayed with him,” Lloyd concluded.

She further questioned his actions, stating, “How many criminals did you bribe to harm me, defame me, harass me, defeat me everywhere? Did you achieve anything? The money you wasted on crooks and prostitutes—if you had spent that on your daughter’s education, life, and future, and given me a good life, things would’ve been so much better. You would’ve been saved from sin, and we could’ve lived a respectful and dignified life.”

Despite these allegations, Shami has consistently maintained his innocence and has continued to secure his position in the Indian cricket team and various IPL contracts.

Jahan concluded her statement with a strong resolve: “You took advantage of a male-dominated society and stayed happy while antisocial people called me wrong. Now I will take the help of the law, claim all our rights, and live happily, Inshallah. Now you think: which support is stronger—social or legal? But remember: all the antisocial people giving you moral support right now are supporting your sins. The day your bad time begins, these same people will make your life hell, Inshallah. Have faith in that.”

Currently, India is engaged in a five-Test series against England in the UK. Mohd. Shami was not selected for this tour, reportedly due to concerns regarding his fitness and form, as the team opted to introduce some younger talent.

Additionally, they have Tecno’s Ella AI installed, which can speak several Indian languages. Connectivity improvements, including 4×4 MIMO and Wi-Fi Dual Pass, are supported by the Pova 7 5G series.
