Vivian Dsena has established himself as a prominent figure in Indian television, consistently delivering performances that resonate with viewers. Over his career, he has showcased a remarkable range, transitioning between intense romantic leads, complex characters, and even dabbling in reality television, each time leaving a lasting impression.

Here are few instances where Vivian Dsena truly impressed with his acting prowess:

One of his earliest and most impactful roles was as Abhay Raichand in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. This supernatural drama introduced Indian audiences to the vampire genre, and Dsena’s portrayal of the brooding, enigmatic vampire earned him a dedicated fan base and cemented his status as a television heartthrob. His intense gaze and ability to convey deep emotion, often with minimal dialogue, made Abhay a truly unforgettable character.

Following this, Dsena took on the role of Rishabh Kundra, or R.K., in Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. As a charming yet complex superstar, his performance was widely praised. He masterfully depicted R.K.’s journey from arrogance to love, captivating viewers with his witty one-liners and the undeniable chemistry he shared with his co-star. This role further solidified his position as one of the leading actors in the industry, earning him awards like the ITA Award for GR8! Performer of the Year.

His portrayal of Harman Singh in Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki was another significant highlight. This show bravely tackled social issues, and Dsena’s character, a man who marries a transgender woman, challenged stereotypes on Indian television. His sensitive and nuanced performance as Harman, navigating societal prejudices and deeply loving his wife, was both powerful and inspiring, garnering him immense critical acclaim and awards such as the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actor.

More recently, Vivian Dsena impressed viewers with his role as Ranveer Oberoi in Sirf Tum. In this series, he once again embraced a lead role, bringing his signature intensity and emotional depth to the character, and showcasing his ability to lead a romantic drama with conviction.

Finally, his participation as a contestant in Bigg Boss 18 also showcased aspects of his personality and presence that impressed many. While reality shows are unscripted, Dsena’s authentic demeanor and measured responses, even amidst challenging situations, allowed audiences to connect with him on a more personal level, proving that his charisma extends beyond fictional roles.

All She Wanted Was to Adopt a Girl, But Even That Wasn’t Simple for Shefali Jariwala

Shefali Jariwala, the popular actress best known for her role in the smash hit music video “Kaanta Laga,” passed away at the age of 42 in Mumbai.

She died after a heart arrest, according to media sources, although Mumbai Police stated they are still investigating the details.

Shefali Jariwala Wanted To Adopt A Child

In addition to the glamour of her life in Bollywood, Shefali had always wished to adopt a child. Shefali had made it clear that she wanted to adopt a child.

“It’s a feeling that had been growing in me for years,” she shared in an interview, adding that she wanted her husband to feel the same way.

“For a decision this big, it was important that both of us were on the same page. Interestingly, my time in the Bigg Boss 13 house made him start thinking seriously about starting a family,” she added.

Shefali Jariwala on Why Child Adoption Takes Time

Shefali Jariwala’s desire to adopt a child began early when she was just 10 or 12 years old. Even at that young age, she felt a deep emotional connection to the idea of adopting a baby girl. She believed that daughters often share a uniquely close bond with their parents.

“I’ve carried that wish with me ever since,” Shefali once shared in an interview. Over the years, her dream of motherhood only grew stronger. But while her heart was ready, the journey toward adoption proved far more complex than she had imagined.

Shefali candidly spoke about the many challenges involved in the adoption process in India. “The road to adoption is not an easy one,” she admitted. Stringent laws, intense scrutiny, and endless formalities make the path emotionally and mentally taxing for prospective parents.

She explained that authorities examine every detail—from a couple’s marital stability to their mental and physical health. The process involves mountains of paperwork, multiple counselling sessions, and even peer discussions with families who have already adopted. “Many couples lose the courage to move forward after seeing the effort and uncertainty involved,” she revealed.

Despite these hurdles, Shefali remains an advocate for adoption. She hopes that sharing her experience will inspire reform and open more hearts to the idea of giving a child a loving home.

Gen Z Finds Love Through Playlists, Not Poems: Expert Explains Why

0

Gone are the days when love was expressed through handwritten letters and poetic verses. Today’s generation is swapping sonnets for Spotify. According to relationship experts, Gen Z is redefining romance through curated playlists — and it’s more meaningful than it may seem.

Playlists Are the New Love Language

For Gen Z, music isn’t just entertainment — it’s emotion, identity, and intimacy all rolled into one. Sharing a playlist is no longer a casual gesture; it’s a carefully crafted expression of feeling. When someone sends you a song, it’s not just about the lyrics — it’s about the shared mood, message, and memory behind it.

Music helps Gen Z communicate emotions that are often hard to verbalize,” says relationship psychologist Dr. Nisha Kapoor. “Playlists are becoming a subtle yet powerful way to show interest, deepen connection, and reveal compatibility.

What Makes It So Special?

Unlike a poem that expresses one-sided emotion, a playlist is interactive and personalized. It evolves, reflects changing feelings, and includes music that both partners connect with. It’s also a way to test emotional vibes early in a relationship.

Do you like lo-fi while they prefer indie pop? That could be your cue to learn more about each other’s inner worlds.

A Digital Twist on Romance

Platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music have made playlist-sharing easier than ever. Many Gen Z couples even create “relationship playlists” that document their journey — first dates, late-night calls, inside jokes, and breakups.

It’s private, creative, and emotionally rich — just like old-school mixtapes, but with a 2025 twist.

In a world where attention spans are short, and DMs are dry, playlists offer Gen Z a deeper, more authentic way to bond. So, if someone sends you a song, don’t underestimate it — it might just be their way of saying, “I like you”.

After all, in this generation, the heart beats to the rhythm of a curated playlist.

Google Pixel to Bring Call Screening to India Soon, Likely With Hindi Language Option

0

In some areas, including the US, Google Pixel phones enable a helpful feature called Call Screening. According to a report, over seven years after the functionality’s inception, the corporation is now working on bringing it to India. During calls, the Pixel phones’ Call Screening feature will also utilise artificial intelligence (AI) to display intelligent reply options that the user must manually select to answer callers. Later this year, Apple is expected to release iOS 26, which will have comparable call-screening tools.

Pixel Phone Call Screening May Need Regulatory Approval

Google is aiming to introduce the feature in India, according to files discovered by Android Authority during a recent APK deconstruction of the Phone by Google app. The Call Screening feature on the Google Pixel smartphone app may utilise one of these: a ZIP file that contains the text “hi_in”, which refers to the language (Hindi) and localisation (India).

Another string, known as “enableIndiaManualScreeningOnlyMode,” was also discovered by the newspaper, indicating that users in India will not be able to access the automated version of Call Screening that is available in the US. If manual call screening is implemented nationwide, users will have to select from a variety of responses after tapping a Screen call button for incoming calls.

While the company has not confirmed its intentions to add Call Screening to Pixel phones in India, the magazine speculates that the feature may be subject to regulatory approval before being rolled out. Furthermore, it’s unknown if Google will launch the feature in Hindi and English or if other languages will be added later.

Google has been observed developing support for call screening on previous occasions. The function was activated by a user on a rooted OnePlus 7 running AOSPA, a modified version of Android, in January 2024. After downloading a Hindi language pack on their smartphone, users can activate the feature.

A similar feature, which asks callers for details and allows the user to choose whether to accept or reject a call, is also expected to be released by Apple later this year with iOS 26. The Live Voicemail feature, introduced to iPhone users in India with the iOS 18 update, is expected to work in conjunction with this functionality.

Ajinkya Rahane Issues Advice About Shardul Thakur Ahead Of 2nd Test

0

Former India Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane is urging the Indian team management to consider opening the bowling attack with Jasprit Bumrah and Shardul Thakur in the remaining matches of the ongoing series against England. Rahane, whose last red-ball appearance for India was in July 2023 against the West Indies, believes Shardul possesses the crucial ability to swing the ball both ways and is a proven wicket-taker.

In the first India-England Test, Shardul bowled only six overs in the first innings and 10 in the second, a usage Rahane felt was insufficient.

“I feel an all-rounder’s role is very important. Shardul Thakur has been an experienced player and has done well in Test cricket overseas. I want to see more overs from Shardul. If the Indian team can use Shardul Thakur in a better way, that will be great. Whatever I have seen with him, he can swing the ball both ways and is a wicket-taker. If Shardul can bowl the first change or even be given the new ball, he can swing it both ways,” Rahane stated on his YouTube channel.

He further elaborated on his strategy: “With the Duke ball, it generally starts to behave after 10 or 12 overs. If Shardul can start the bowling with Bumrah and Siraj can come in as one change, that will be great. I would like to see Shardul bowling more overs. Give him that freedom, and he will get you more wickets.”

Shardul has played a total of 12 Tests for India since his debut against the West Indies in October 2018, accumulating 33 wickets. While he was chosen over Nitish Kumar Reddy for the series opener in Leeds, captain Shubman Gill did not utilize him extensively with the ball.

Do you agree with Ajinkya Rahane?

Jethalal Aka Dilip Joshi & Babita Ji Aka Munmun Dutta Leaving TMKOC?

The beloved characters of Jethalal and Babita Ji, brought to life by Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta respectively in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, are widely adored by audiences. However, their conspicuous absence from the show’s current “Bhootni” plotline has sparked widespread speculation about whether Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta have departed the popular sitcom.

Rumors concerning Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta’s exit from TMKOC began circulating after fans noticed that Jethalal and Babita Ji have been missing from the ongoing storyline for a considerable period. While other Gokuldham society members, including Bapu ji, Popatlal, and Sodhi, have joined Taarak Mehta and Anjali on a vacation to a haunted bungalow, Jethalal and Babita Ji have been noticeably absent from the action. This has led many to wonder if Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta are planning to leave the show.

However, a news channel has reported that the show’s production house has confirmed that Munmun Dutta and Dilip Joshi are indeed still part of the show. According to the current plot, Jethalal is on a business trip with his associates, while Babita and Iyer are said to be vacationing in Mahabaleshwar.

It’s worth noting that both Munmun Dutta and Dilip Joshi have been integral parts of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah since its inception. Munmun Dutta portrays Babita Ji, and her on-screen chemistry with Jethalal, played by Dilip Joshi, is a significant reason for the show’s enduring popularity.
