Just a couple of days back, a reddit user talked about #unsafeDelhi as he shared an incident of attempted burglary which happened in his house and now a girl has shared a disgusting incident of harassment which she faced in a DTC bus and the culprit in this case was a 50 yrs old man.
The girl wrote on reddit that while she was travelling in the bus, she felt something hard hitting her at her back and it didn’t take much time for her to realize what was happening. However, she moved forward thinking that it may be a mistake but then it happened again.
She wrote, “Angrily I turned and told him, ‘thoda distance deke khade raho aap, theek hai’ (maintain some distance, ok). At that moment, driver put break and everyone started leaning forward. So, people got distracted, I was loud enough that at least all the people near me would listen, but bad luck. After I shouted at him, he ignored it completely and moved behind, like I was talking to someone else.”
She wrote that she should have shouted loudly and should have used cuss words and must have got him kicked out of the bus but she wasn’t able to do that as she was shocked.
This was really pathetic and shameful.
