Xiaomi brings its latest HyperOS to Redmi device

Xiaomi is rolling out its latest HyperOS to a Redmi smartphone in India. In the country, the Redmi Note 13 5G will get HyperOS. In addition to the base model, the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Pro+ variants are getting the latest update. The HyperOS debuted in the country in February.

Redmi announced it on X (previously Twitter). HyperOS for Redmi Note 13 may take days to roll out. The Redmi Note 12 series may also get the update.

“With #XiaomiHyperOS, say hello to enhanced performance and unparalleled user experience | Now available on the #RedmiNote13 5G Series,” Redmi said on X.

HyperOS New Features

Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS update will give the Redmi Note 13 5G series lock screen customization, improved icons and fonts, and a new UI. The upgrade will also add productivity and interconnectivity features to the Xiaomi ecosystem, such as phone-to-tablet screen viewing.

The Eligible Devices

Xiaomi has listed eligible smartphones for the Q2 2024 (April–June) HyperOS update. Xiaomi 11 Lite, 11i, 11i HyperCharge, 11T Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 10, Redmi K50i, Redmi 12, Redmi 11 Prime, Redmi 13C, and Redmi Note 11 are included. The Xiaomi Pad 5 will also get the update. The Xiaomi Smart Hub lets consumers control all smart home gadgets from one place.

As Xiaomi starts rolling out its newest operating system, HyperOS, to the popular smartphone series, the wai for Indian Redmi Note 13 5G users comes to an end. Along with improved efficiency, this upgrade also promises a more sophisticated user interface. The HyperOS update is also being applied to the Pro and Pro+ versions of the Note 13 5G in addition to the regular model.

Redmi customers should expect a visual update with customized lock screens, enhanced icons and fonts, and a completely new user interface, albeit it may take a few days for the rollout to reach all devices. Beyond aesthetics, HyperOS enhances the Xiaomi environment with productivity capabilities and easy communication. This includes features that improve the user experience across all Xiaomi products, such as screen viewing from a phone to a tablet.

Not only the Redmi Note 13 series is eligible for the HyperOS update. A broader release timetable for Q2 2024 that includes a variety of smartphones and tablets has been verified by Xiaomi. The update is planned for devices from the Xiaomi 11 series, Mi 10 series, Redmi K50i, and several Redmi Note and Pad models. This guarantees that a sizable portion of Xiaomi consumers in India will be able to take advantage of the enhanced performance and user experience provided by HyperOS. Thus, if you have a Xiaomi handset that is compatible, watch for the update notification and get ready to take your smartphone experience to the next level.
